Photographs from the Houston Zoo by Love Elementary StudentsThirteen (13) children from Houston's Love Elementary School recently visited the Houston Zoo. They were accompanied by Beth Jordan, who teaches art at Love Elementary, and Rice University students Lara Hansmann and Wendy Wu. The kids were given a special tour, including the opportunity to get eye-level with the giraffes and feed them.
The photographs that the children made on this field trip with the Pozos Art Project, along with many more to come, will lead to the completion of the ongoing project, In the Eyes of Our Children: Houston, An American City. |
